How to play roulette

The rules of roulette are fairly easy to master. Players are supposed to correctly guess the number in which the ball will fall after the wheel has stopped spinning. The game is a game of chance and therefore beginners have the same chance of winning as experienced players. You may choose an aggressive betting strategy or a more cautious one. Nonetheless it all comes down to luck.

The roulette wheel revolves inside a bowl in which a ball is thrown to roll until it rests in one of the 37 or 38 divisions (depending on if you play European or American roulette). Prior to throwing the ball, which is thrown by a croupier, players wager on which number or numbers the ball will land. You bet by placing chips on a mat and you purchase the chips from the casino cashier. The chips have different value and the placement of these chips indicate the bet the player or players have made. As for every other game that involves money, it’s good to practice a bit with a free version of roulette before starting to play for real money.
